What she told me yesterday

Always and forever
I promise to you
We'll never be apart
No one has touched me like you
When I heard those words, it was music to my ears
It gave me a feeling inside
That I hadn't felt in years
Now I just need to make it 24 hours
Am I being Paranoid, or is it reasonable to have my fears
That's what she told me yesterday
And I loved it when yesterday was today
But now it's another day
I wonder if she feels the same
The same today as yesterday
I guess I'll find out either way
Her hand was holding mine
And oh my God, she looked so fine
I'm not one whose time for blasphemy
But her beauty brought me to my knees
And she said she wanted me
Now she's the one holding the key
Only she can set me free
Will she still say the same things to me?
Heavenly father, that's my prayer please
That's what she told me yesterday
And I loved it when yesterday was today
But now it's another day
I wonder if she feels the same
The same today as yesterday
I guess I'll find out either way
There's no reason to doubt her sincerity
It's just I've lost in love before
And don't want her to lose her feelings for me
I know what I'm hoping for
And it lies in those words I heard her say before
And I want to hear them once more
That's what she told me yesterday
