Back round I've been singing just about my hole life but unfortunately have never been noticed by any label I've been writing lyrics for about 14 years and just now have the confidence to put them out there hopping that someone beside myself and family love them
today. I've been through heart
eaks, struggles, and triumphs, and they've all shaped my writing in one way or another. My lyrics always come from a place of honesty and vulnerability. I believe that is what resonates with listeners and makes a song truly impactful.
I usually start my writing process by reflecting on a specific emotion or experience that I want to convey.
One of the most challenging parts of writing lyrics is finding the balance between being too specific and too vague. I want my lyrics to be relatable, but I also want them to be personal and unique. I often struggle with whether to include specific details from my own experiences or to keep it more general so that others can interpret the lyrics in their own way.
But no matter what, I always try to infuse my lyrics with raw emotion and honesty. I want everyone to feel something when they hear my songs, whether it's sadness, joy, or anything in between. I also try to incorporate universal themes that everyone can relate to, regardless of their personal experiences
Over the years, my writing style has evolved and grown, just like I have as a person. I'm constantly learning and experimenting with new techniques and ways to convey my thoughts and feelings through lyrics. And I know that I will continue to do so for the rest of my life
In the end, writing lyrics is a cathartic and therapeutic process for me. It allows me to process my emotions and share them with the world in a creative way. And if my lyrics can connect with even just one person and make them feel less alone, then I've accomplished my goal as a songwriter.
