On her bedroom wall, to Taylor she'll pray
She has Taylor Swift merch and Taylor Swift apps
Taylor Swift bracelets and Taylor Swift hats

My daughter's trying to make me a Swiftie
She's so mischievous and dog-gone shifty
She brings up Taylor; asks me to buy merch,
And if I refuse, then daddy's a jerk

She knows all Taylor's boyfriends, and that is LOTS,
She tries to guilt me into spending; puts me on the spot,
She shows puppy dog eyes to make me buy,
And if I don't it will make her cry.
She wants to see her in concert; the prices are steep.
And if I don't buy them, I'm a hated creep.
She makes me listen to Swift in the car and at home,
She makes me watch her concerts on the IPad and phone.
She quotes obscure lyrics, and quizzes me on facts,
She memorizes albums, concerts and tracks.
