Friends
By Baxter Bailey
In Jamestown, where the memories run deep, my best friends, a bond that's unique. Through the highs and the lows, we've stood side by side, decades strong, with hearts open wide.
Friends, through laughter and tears, Through all of life's trials, through the passing of years. We've weathered the storms, and we've played in the rain, my best friends, a bond that will never wane.
We met in our youth, just kids at the park, Shot hoops, shared secrets and dreamed under a southern sky so dark. As we grew, life's adventures we chased, Through all of life's chapters, we set the pace.
Friends, through laughter and tears, Through all of life's trials, through the passing of years. We've weathered the storms, and we've played in the rain, my best friends, a bond that will never wane.
Through weddings and funerals, births and goodbyes, We've held one another, under clear and dark skies. Our friendship's a treasure, a bond tried and true, In this world full of change, we always come through.
Times may have changed, but our bond stayed the same, Four best friends, an eternal flame. Through thick and thin, we've held fast, in friendship that's built to last.
Friends, through laughter and tears, Through all of life's trials, through the passing of years. We've weathered the storms, and we've played in the rain, my best friends, a love that will never wane.
Now the hair may be gray, and the wrinkles may show, We’re Crotchety and old, But the love in our hearts, it continues to grow. Blessed beyond measure, surviving and thriving through every milestone, we've held each other near, Four best buds, a bond crystal clear.
In a world that keeps changing, our friendship's a rock, Like the four horsemen, an unbreakable lock. With hearts full of memories that could fill a well, friends forever, with wild and fun stories to tell.
