Keep Searching
By Sara Osório
Yeah…
We all question what we’re doing here…
Listen.
Yo, we all question why we’re placed on this Earth,
Searching for our purpose from the second of birth.
Thinking ’bout existence got us losing our mind,
Trying to give life meaning in the limited time.
Is fulfillment just a myth we’re chasing on repeat?
Trying to feel whole, trying to feel complete.
Created by a God or a cosmic mistake?
Either way, we need a foundation that won’t break.
’Cause if we don’t believe in something that lifts,
We lose hope quick — fall into the abyss.
Down that bottomless pit, where the light don’t reach,
Where doubt kills dreams and the fear starts to preach.
What’s the meaning? (Yeah)
Why we breathing? (Why?)
Is it helping one another through the pain we’re seeing?
Wars, hunger, poverty, misery remains —
Tell me, can we still smile in a world full of pain?
Human nature flawed, yeah, we trip on our pride,
Always comparing what we got to the person beside.
Acting like we’re giants, but truth be told,
We just tiny little sparks in a universe cold.
Why we break down crying when our loved ones pass?
Death is natural, we know it, part of life’s class.
But still it hits hard, shakes us down to the core,
Leaves us questioning our purpose even more.
Are we crafted by a God who was painting with love?
Or is life just random stardust floating above?
Would the truth change the actions we take?
Or is meaning in the love and the lives that we shape?
Is the meaning lifting others when they’re feeling low?
Being someone’s sunshine when the world says “no”?
Even in the dark, we keep searching for the light,
For a reason just to wake up and continue to fight.
Can we be happy while others feel pain?
Maybe meaning is getting up again and again.
Maybe it ain’t in the answer—
Maybe it’s in the effort.
Maybe it’s not about “why,”
But how we treat each other in the meantime.
We all question why we’re walking this path we’re on…
But maybe life reveals itself the more we live and love.
Yeah.
Keep living, keep loving, keep searching.
