Judge and Jury live in our stead...
Conflict 'twixt "wrong" and "the right;"
Even with no chip to shoulder...
The Concept goads us into a Fight.
Useful in their due Course...
Teach what hurts Us and We;
But Time's quite well over-done...
Compound and assail the verb "Be."
Class'fied, twice over, does seem...
Secrets deny Love in the Heart;
Withering Pain - seeps, ebbs and flows...
Fear's buck is passed and we start.
Guilt lives only in off-loaded form...
Though hate's messengers do find their mark;
Only to return, time after time...
We cower and writhe in the dark.
