Bare Minimum
I gave him time, I gave him space,
But all I got was the same old place,
Empty words and broken dreams,
I'm lost in the silence of what it means.
I tried to believe he'd come around,
But every step, he lets me down,
I can't keep holding onto hope,
When he's barely trying, we're losing the rope.
I've been waiting, but the tide won't turn,
His bare minimum's not enough, it burns,
Promises fade like smoke in the air,
I'm tired of hoping when he's never there.
Holding on, but the cracks still show,
Bare minimum love ain't helping us grow,
I'm done with waiting for something real,

The moments pass, and nothing’s new,
I need more than what he’s willing to do,
