Garden of the Gods

In the garden of the Gods,
They're planting them deep.
While the demons rejoice,
And the angels weep.

The light, pure white,
Then the darkest black.
When the moon comes full,
The monsters attack.

The pretty ones depart,
When the ugly approach.
Eyes crawling over you,
Like a bold cockroach.

Sleep so deep,
On death's borderline.
Unquinched thirst,
From dust-dry wine.

This is where I'll be,
Wearing a moldy suit.
Until summer heat
Spawns a worthy recruit.

Conscious time forgets
What the oldest never knew.
In the garden of the Gods,
There's a plot just for you.
