Would you say you miss me, if I said I missed you more? Would you shed a single tear if my mom called and said I've died? Would you say you're sorry, if I said I was sorry too? Would you come back into my life again, like I want you to? Would you regret anything you said to me, would you regret the days you missed? I want to make you miss all the little moments I held dear that you ignored, I want to make you see how you crushed my soul by treating me poorly. I'm sorry I wasn't enough, and I'm sorry you left, but most of all, I'm sorry I wasted all these years suffering in silence. I think I've changed now, or so I've been told, because on days like this, I waver to not missing you like I used to. I'd have you back if you change your mind, but only if you agree to mind the line I've drawn that you stepped over before. Last time, for the last time, you took it one step too far, and I stepped back. It's always been that way, but not anymore. You can't ignore my boundaries, you can't pretend it didn't happen - for us to be lovers again, you have to acknowledge you were the problem. Maybe I'll wait for you, but I probably won't.
