Willow

Artist: The Forever Fox© -Chelene
Artist's Description
I never reveal the reason I wrote the song nor the real-life backstory. The aim of this is to evoke deep feeling in the musician, as to then inspire the musician to write a melody from their own similar, yet different experience on the subject. The musician’s melody and my lyrics, then create two deeply emotional experiences combined powerfully in the final product, the song.

The song then allows the listener to also partake in this connection allowing them to feel and express their own feelings of sorrow, joy, inspiration or hope. The true magic of music, is connection…

Willow

By The Forever Fox© -Chelene
Verse 1:
She wears flowers in her hair
Draws unwanted attention everywhere
Gives no care, for any stare
Willow if you dare

Verse 2:
She scratch’s bare to the bones
Poetic in her poems
Will tear apart your dreams, at the seams
Willow if you dare

Chorus:
She, belongs everywhere and nowhere
believes in nothing and everything.
Full of airs and grace, enticing face
Willow she don’t care
She’s snared, snared, caught up
tangled in her own hair

Verse 3:
She will lay you down to the ground
Briefly kiss your soul
While she steals your gold
Willow if you dare

Verse 4:
Finished telling her told story
She takes all the second-hand glory
She now just ignores me
Willow if you dare

Chorus:
She, belongs everywhere and nowhere
believes in nothing and everything.
Full of airs and grace, enticing face
Willow she don’t care
She’s snared, snared, caught up
tangled in her own hair
