Verse:
I can stay up all night
And write you songs,
But I can’t confront you,
Can’t stay strong.

There are so many words
I would like to say,
There was a time once,
But I couldn’t find a way.
I can’t remember the way you smile,
Images fading in my brain.
The feeling when you looked at me
Is everything that still remains.
One time too many,
I tried to make it right.
I’m tired, I’ll let you go,
Maybe one day, you’ll see the light.
Chorus:
What to say when there are no words?
Just distant music to be heard.
Close your eyes and listen hard,
Think five times before you play your card.

Think 5 Times

The need for an answer
Strikes you down again,
Takes your good options,
And binds you in chains.
It holds you back
From all that surrounds you,
Bringing only pain,
While it laughs in your face.
It doesn't want you
To learn to be free,
Only when it's too late
Does it let you see.
Bursts of intense emotion,
No one wants you to feel,
You should feel ferocious,
They're trying to steal your will.
I'm having these thoughts
Of falling into a deep abyss,
These things I don't know of,
Then how can I miss?
Lower your disguise,
Now let it all go,
You don't have to be wise,
You've done this before.

The Need

To wipe away all that’s conscious,
I don’t need approval.
Of all that’s left and bad,
A final removal.
I’m deeply grateful
For this conclusion.
To end it all now,
I’ve found a solution.
Dark as a graveyard,
Empty as a broken jar,
Inside, I’m so confused,
Unreasonably tasteless.
If they all could be gone,
I would feel so comfortable.
It would feel like home,
And I wouldn’t be so miserable.
Should I end it all now?
Can you show me a sign?
If no one were out there,
I guess I would feel fine.

The End

The End

Verse 1:
It hurts to think freely,
You’re aware of it now.
How does it really
Feel to be sold?
Can you explain your reason
For all those shameful deeds?
Man, is that really
What your head needs?

Verse 2:
On a dark cloud of silence,
You’d rather float,
Now you’re optimized enough,
No more dangerous thoughts.

Chorus:
It is a fair trade,
Your conscience for gold.
Deep down inside you,
You think that you’re bold.
Yeah, I’m more happy,
Same shit every year,
Such a heroic victory
Over all of your fears.

Verse 3:
Now, you’re stuck forever
With indignity,
You’re trapped in your box now,
There’s no way outta there.

Verse 4:
Fallout from nowhere,
Sometimes you’ve been,
You were here with misfits,
Your intentions were clean.

Sold Soul

Verse 1:
I wish I’d never met you,
You’re a dork who unbelievably sucks.
With more than just one face,
Around you flows toxic flux.
You want people to like you,
But you’re so empty inside.
To realize your own needs,
You need a fxxxing guide.
For miles, your insecurity stinks,
Even after a few drinks, you can’t hide it.
Why do you care so much what people think?
You can’t be cool—you’ve tried it.
Chorus:
I don’t know what I saw in you,
There’s really not that much.
You’re just an empty shell,
And a sad soul in need of a touch.
It makes me angry
That you’re so dumb.
For reasons beyond reason,
Your senses have gone numb.
Verse 2:
You’ll stay alone—we both know it,
Denied of all that you want.
You don’t want to be a failure,
Doesn’t matter how much you’ve cried.
Bridge:
Long ago, I was naïve,
Someone like you would drive me mad.
Unlike you, I’m growing up,
Realizing that you are just sad.

Sad Bird

Verse 1:
Saturday night's fever
Is coming close to the beginning,
There are so many stairs,
And we can hear him breathing.
Bridge:
Breathe a little quieter,
Be careful and watch, because...
Chorus:
Now we walk as one,
(There are so many stairs)
Or he will hear us come.
Now we walk as one,
(There are so many stairs)
If he hears us, we're done.
Verse 2:
He had 50,000 reasons
To return home.
We could be so happy,
But we’re never alone.
Up there in the attic,
He lives in his haven,
Can’t come downstairs,
And be seen by the Raven.

Now We Walk as One

Verse 1:
This feeling that I have
Makes me redefine sadness.
For I’m not a sad one
In all of this madness.
Day in and day out,
I’m thankful for a chance,
‘Cause I’ve lived in a blackout—
The crazier I got, the more I advanced.
Verse 2:
I could have been imprisoned,
Could have suffered trapped in your cell.
Never again will I trust you,
Not buying anything you try to sell.
I’ve always been a free bird,
Yeah, you could never tell.
Oh, everything we did together
Was uncomfortable as hell.
Chorus:
Finally, I am free;
I feel it was such a waste.
That pathetic little drama
Is really not to my taste.
You better hide your feelings,
Keep them closed, locked in a vault.
Yeah, the reason you’re never happy
Is really not my fault.

Never Happy

A famous artist cracks a laugh,
His libido goes very far.
He's far ahead of his time,
Constantly in search of rhyme.
Then he met her in a pub,
She asked him to give her drugs.
She was neat and very kind,
But had some trouble on her mind.

They were facing into the storm,
Getting high was their art form,
Risking everything that could be blown,
If they were seen by a uniform.
The famous artist then decides,
He’ll paint some while he's high.
High as a kite, his lover smiled,
But he couldn’t get her smile quite right.

“Looks weird,” she said with dread,
“People will think I’m inbred.”
The painter tried to clear his head,
So he took her to bed.
Still today, that smile screams,
"Looks strange by all means."
But maybe it’s not what it seems,
Can you see it in your dreams?

About Me

Bio

I’m a tech enthusiast and guitar player who has been passionately involved in music for years. I write lyrics for several of my own bands, and now I’m looking to share and sell some of the songs that have emerged from me but haven't found a place in my projects. While I’m primarily a guitarist, not a singer, I channel my creativity through my instrument and songwriting.

I also run my own brand, 67audio.hr, specializing in guitar effects and modifications. Music is both my love and hobby, but professionally, I work in a completely different field. I have a background in electronics and IT, with a focus on programming and networking. I currently work in the R&D department of a company that specializes in wireless networks.

Inspiration for my lyrics often strikes when I’m walking alone or riding public transportation. I always jot down my ideas, develop a concept, and then decide what to do with those lyrics and songs.
