I've posted about one hundred songs, and for the most part, you can get them dirt cheap. I've also posted a pile of just lyrics that you can also get dirt cheap. Take a look, and see if there's anything here that will work for you!

Note: Music-only tracks for the same song are available free with the copyright purchase of all but one of my complete songs (Not for just lyrics).

Hint: If you want to go through my list of lyrics, then go to "Buy" then "Buy Lyrics" then mark "All Buying Options" then enter "David Alan Johnson" as the artist and then press the "Submit" button. That will list all my lyrics and you can check each one out then use the "Back" arrow to not lose your place.

Want a list of all my songs, select "Buy" then "Buy Songs" then the name as above to get the songs but select "Search."

You don't have to enter all the options in the "Buy Lyrics" or "Buy Songs" searches to do the search, but you do need to enter the buying option and the artist's name.

I've been writing songs now, seriously, since about 2002. And, I've written some great songs and lyrics which are posted here. In general, I'm not asking much for them, so I think you can do very well purchasing my songs. I hope you will agree!

I also hope you enjoy my music and want to play it for yourself. I have Country and Christian tunes here for you, as well as some lyrics that can lend themselves to Pop and Rock as well. And if you pick up any of my songs, then I wish you the best of luck in making them work for you!

I wrote my first song in 1976. It wasn't too bad. But, I had a lot to learn. I've honed my craft a lot since then, especially over the last few years. I've been working with Pro writers on Songu.com, and they have been a big help. Now, I don't do demos on songs unless the Pros rate them with an A+ or an A. Anything less, and I toss the song in my trash heap. Hundreds of dead songs lie there! And most of the good ones, they are here!

I admit that some of my earlier songs are here that I'm not that proud of. But listen in, and you can find some gems in my catalog. I've posted over sixty complete songs here and a pile of lyrics as well. As, and if, I get sales here on songs and/or lyrics, I will be having many of those lyrics cut to demos. I just need the funding to do that with. I don't play well and I can't sing for my life, so the majority of my demos are done in Nashville!
