Norwegian composer, lyricist and musician with well over 30 years of experience in songwriting, live performances and studio production.

Started out playing keyboards in various bands at the age of 15, followed by several years as a singer. After pursuing a solo career for just about ten years, the next natural step up was to pursue a career in music production. The studio Imperial Sound was built, and the business established in 2006. Working full time as a songwriter, music producer, technician and instructor for almost five years certainly gave results in terms of experience and craftsmanship but, sadly not so much in terms of money. The studio was closed down for good in 2012. Thankfully, all it takes to write a song is a pen, paper and a guitar or a keyboard. Add to that a decent home studio and nothing has changed, really. There is still so much music to write!

I'm done performing live. It gives me nothing, it scares the s**t out of me, and most of what happens up there is gone by the time I get backstage anyway. I don't know, some people get their kicks out of that. I get mine from writing. So that's what I'll do in the future. And collaborating with other lyricists and composers, too. Bring it on!
