Let’s amble and ramble and elope
Songbay Competition song - Lyrics by George Wall

Verse 1
A flamboyant picture in your attire
Your blazing clothes are on fire
A ramble with you drives my desire
Gives me hope and sets my heart on fire

Verse 2
Your flamboyant jewellery is on show
So befitting my darling sweet belle
Lets go ramble in central park
I hope we can stay till after dark

1st chorus
The more I see you in my mind
The more I want to find
Each day is full of promise and hope
Let’s amble and ramble and elope
Yes lets amble and ramble and hey lets elope

Verse 3
We love everything Gaudi
Don’t mention that word dowdy
Your flamboyant style is so chic
Surrounded by hope in our clique
That Hope diamond looks great
Its facets are so ornate

Bridge
Verse 4

I hope the dollars keep on flowing
To keep this flamboyant couple glowing
We will always show our vivacious best
Together we are so very blessed
We fell in love with those Cuban cigars
and Monte Carlo flamboyant cars

2nd Chorus
Please be my guiding light
I hope for a ramble at midnight
Flamboyant vivid colours to shine
Red grapes for our favourite wine
Let’s amble and ramble and elope
Yes let’s amble and ramble and hey lets elope

You could be Song
By George Wall

You could be a carpenter
A war monger or a worshiper
Follow the wrong side of the tracks
Argue with Police about the facts

You could be a soldier
Be a red card holder
A person in the limelight
A banker who is oh so tight

You could be a miner
A quiet book binder
A person of the collar
Or holding a cup out for a dollar

You could be a Movie star
A person who lays tar
High school teacher
Someone like Jack Reacher

You could be a rancher
A defendant who give answers
A house painter
A physical team trainer

You could be anything
A person who can sing
A good politician
President of the crime commission

Bottom of the bottle song

By George Wall

Spent far too much time
Looking at the bottom of the bottle
Detroit city 1969 - Rodriguez was on track
Music from his album Cold Fact
The Sewer bar is my nightly home
Drinking whiskey topped up by Jerome

The bartender knew my life
Money – woman - so much strife
That stool was always mine
Alone - drunk and not doing fine
Floorboards smelt of stale old wine
Old crow whiskey - cheap at dollar and a dime

Too many days turned into binges
Days spent with those on the fringes
Lately this black cloud hanging over me
Getting harder and harder to break free
Any road I travel is littered with life’s debris
Better days are hard for me to see

Jerome keep filling my - filling my glass
Old crow whiskey – not much class
Every shot eases my pain
Sending good dollars down the drain
I’m under the whiskey spell
Heading down heading down to hell

Tax man - he keeps on calling
My response is to keep on stalling
My body is a broken down model
Keep on looking at the bottom of the bottle
If you hear me – hear me go crying out
That bad man from below - is hanging about

My kids don’t want to know me no more
I’m always sneaking in the back door – if at all
Tammy told me this is the end
You’re someone who I cannot depend
To the kids you’re a bad role model
Always looking at the bottom of the bottle

Jerome keep filling my - filling my glass
Old crow whiskey – not much class
Every shot eases my pain
Sending good dollars down the drain
I’m under the whiskey spell
Heading down heading down to hell

Queen of the lonely heart club Song

By George Wall

Listen to my heart
That voice telling me to be smart
Within let your feelings out
Let them out go on shout
Queen of the lonely heart club

Queen of the lonely heart club
Is there anyone above?
Who can find me a love?
Who will fit me like a glove?
Queen of the lonely heart club

Spent so many days alone
I don’t get calls on my iPhone
Just people trying to sell me stuff
Will I ever be good enough?
Queen of the lonely heart club

Put a sign up in the sky
Otherwise I am just asking why
Is there nothing for me out there?
Company is in the mirror I stare
Queen of the lonely heart club

I wander alone in my old car
Never too close never too far
no friends left on my facebook page
Left alone in this four wall cage
Queen of the lonely heart club
Left alone in this four wall cage
Queen of the lonely heart club

Queen of the lonely heart club Song By George Wall

Say my peace Song

By George Wall

If I could say my peace out aloud
Speak my peace to a crowd
I’d tell you all what’s in my mind
My inner feeling of all kind

To many times silence hides the truth
I’ve been quiet since my youth
Too afraid to vocalise
Afraid of who I might despise

To stay away to prevent exposure
Expose my secrets in full disclosure
It’s easy to judge my way of being
I’m afraid of those disagreeing

Who should I seek to show me how?
Not someone who is too highbrow
I bare my soul for understanding
It will give me a life branding

There’s a mixture of complexity
Aligned with the ways of simplicity
Could you all understand this?
Or is it just human bliss

Say my Peace by George Wall

Do you want to be Song
By George Wall

Do you want to be a clown?
Stop the audience from a frown
Do you want to be a movie star?
Drive around in a diamond car

Do you want to be want to be
A famous server of afternoon tea
Someone who can play the right key
A judge who can set a person free

Maybe you want to be
A bird just flying free
A monkey in a coconut tree
What do you want to be?

Put your hand in the air
A flamingo dancer with flair
Could plant a forest of trees
What really do you want to be?

Do you want to be?
A rainman set free?
What about a singer?
Or maybe an old fashion gun slinger?

Do you want to be?
A rainman set free?
What about a singer
Or an old fashion gun slinger?
A cowboy bull ringer?
A politician right winger?

No more tomorrow’s today song

By George Wall

There will be no more tomorrows today
It’s the end of the road I say
No more tomorrows today
It’s your sinking heart that’s at play

I see no bright light on the horizon
The gap between you and me is widening
No more ideas to bring us together
No more tomorrows today forever

Every time there’s a chance or hope
My heart say’s I’ll never cope
My trust in you has gone forever
No more tomorrows today ever ever

If I cried out would you listen?
That binding thread has gone missing
The decision is everlasting
No more tomorrows today is lasting

There’s now an oceans current I’m on
Floating away to where I belong
There’s nothing left to say
There’s no more tomorrows today
There’s nothing left to say
There’s no more tomorrows today

No more tomorrow’s today song

Pumping gas Song

Every day I’m pumping gas
Putting out the daily trash
Paying my bills a month at a time
My profits are just a few dimes

Boss man he just a little lazy
Always waiting to serve Miss Daisy
Her car arrives he comes alive
Asks her does she want a test drive

It’s a Missouri summer every day
A Missouri summer driveway
To A Missouri summer Monday
A Missouri summer daily replay

Over and over just a daily heat
Looking for a rest on the boss man seat
He’s it’s some fancy leather
Stuffed inside with a gooses feather

When the sun goes down
I can walk into town
My honky tonk dancehall
Fancy ladies with that southern drawl

Goodnight bossman you’re out of my hair
Looking for a dance with southern flair
Escape all my days of gas and grease
With that fine young lady worries will cease

It’s a Missouri summer every day
A Missouri summer driveway
To A Missouri summer Monday
A Missouri summer daily replay
