Chorus:
Let's find a better place/
For the kids to go home to/
A better place/
Find a world not ripped in two/
A better place/
Why can't they look up to you/
Tell me why are they so confused/

V1:
Back in the day all you saw were nice faces/
No sighs, no cries and no police chases/
But time changes so please be patient/
The world needs to take a step back/
But in the right direction/
Is it foreseeable to rid the world from evil/
I don't know/
It's inconceivable seein' how we treat other people/
The world needs to change/
But everybody knows that/
Then why aren't we focused on what is broken/
We're choking/
Can you hear the words bein' spoken/
Let em' soak in/
I'm tired of being the only one who's listenin'/
It's depressin'

(Chorus x2)

V2:
I used to have a pill addiction/
But fxxx it I can still spit the illest sentence/
My life has been like a game of tennis/
Hit so hard I'm like a slave to peasants/
My presence can be a rain of vengeance/
A voice to the kid with abusive parents/
Embarrassed that they got cuts on they arms/
No hope left so they wish on shooting stars/
Have I gone too far/
Let's see/
Depression is what were stuck in/
Maybe we need to focus on bein' a better person/
We all live a life we're caged in/
So let's all find a better place/
And just move in

(Chorus)

A Better Place

Privilege
V1:
I cannot be bound by this sense of indignation/
Curiosity runs and I am left to imagine/
The world wakes up and takes me by surprise/
Stands on my throat and jabs me in the eye/
Chorus:
Privilege
It's what this life has come to
Privilege
Can this all be true
Privilege
Keep marching through the sad tune
V2:
I cannot make much sense of time/
Everyone else has a sense in mind/
Oh please tell me what to do/
Please help me find my/
Chorus x2
V3:
It's been so hard to find my own way/
But someday my life's got to change/
Shape up, keep your head held high/
You have to jump, if you want to fly (to)/
Chorus into fade

About Me

Bio

Hi everyone! My name is Brandon and I have been writing lyrics and music for a few years. It all started in 6th grade when I wrote my own song in my school band class. Since then I have leaned more on my lyrical talent and would like to share them with anyone who likes them enough to pay for them haha!

CV/History

My history in music goes back to 6th grade. I started out just making music on regular scraps of paper and eventually got it into a proper form with some help from my teachers. Later I became obsessed with lyrical geniuses such as Eminem. Since I don't have the voice for singing or rapping I have settled with helping others lyrically!

Key Dates

Personally I haven't done any performances but I can't say for sure what my friends have done with my lyrics in their free time :)
